I had an idea that I would like to make some snowflakes so crocheted these using a pattern from Attic 24.
Then I thought it would be good to add some beads. I've never crocheted with beads before so made it up as I went along.
And then I thought, like you do, that they might make pretty cards
And I was pretty pleased with the results.
Little things please me!
they look lovely.

coo, they look tricky Gina but how effective!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I crochet snowflakes too, for Christmas tree decoration. I crochet the cotton with Kreink blending filament 032, which adds sparkle.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! I'm rather slow at crochet so perhaps these would be small enough for me to try - and there's no pressure to make a hundred that all match exactly :)
ReplyDeleteSuch an excellent idea, so pretty. x
ReplyDeleteThey make lovely cards and the recipients can keep the snowflakes to hang on their trees another year. Great idea Gina.
ReplyDeleteLovely - so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteAlways so creative Gina, they look lovely.
ReplyDeleteThey are very pretty and I really like the beads on the tips of each point, very pretty indeed! xx
ReplyDeleteFab! At Newtown Arts we've got a bit of a crochet heart obsession going on, except I'm useless at it! I think next time we meet I'll challenge them to add beads.
ReplyDeleteI love crocheted snowflakes, and these look perfect on the red cards. Wendy x
