Day Thirteen :: Snowflakes

I had an idea that I would like to make some snowflakes so crocheted these using a pattern from Attic 24.

Then I thought it would be good to add some beads. I've never crocheted with beads before so made it up as I went along.

And then I thought, like you do, that they might make pretty cards

And I was pretty pleased with the results.
Little things please me!

  5. So pretty! I crochet snowflakes too, for Christmas tree decoration. I crochet the cotton with Kreink blending filament 032, which adds sparkle.

  6. So lovely! I'm rather slow at crochet so perhaps these would be small enough for me to try - and there's no pressure to make a hundred that all match exactly :)

  7. They make lovely cards and the recipients can keep the snowflakes to hang on their trees another year. Great idea Gina.

  10. Fab! At Newtown Arts we've got a bit of a crochet heart obsession going on, except I'm useless at it! I think next time we meet I'll challenge them to add beads.
