As well as spending most of yesterday up to my elbows in icing sugar, I did a bit of last minute stitching for the Christmas Market. There had been grand plans for a new range of tea cosies, some new apron designs, not to mention lots of new cushions but somehow I just ran out of time (can't imagine why) So in a bit of last minute desperation a fleecy blanket was converted into half a dozen squishy cats.
The Christmas market was this morning. Most of the mini Christmas cakes sold which was good, a couple of other bits and bobs sold which was also good... but not a single blimmin' cat sold which was rubbish! Any ideas what I might do with half a dozen demented looking pink cats?
Awww and they do look adorable.
ReplyDeleteSave them for St. Valentines Day?
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable. Glad you sold a lot of your items. :)
ReplyDeleteAwe poor kitties, they're absolutely gorgeous too!

Love the cats, could you donate to a children's hospital or shelter? Some child would love them.
ReplyDeleteI know a whippet who'd like one...
ReplyDeleteThat happened to me with my crocheted snowflakes at the school Christmas fair. I'm with Penny. Children's ward at a local hospital or hospice. Kids will be delighted.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame - they are so cute. Next year's Christmas Fair perhaps, or Etsy?
ReplyDeletehow frustrating Gina - obviously not a very discerning clientele lol. Etsy?
ReplyDeleteIt is such a shame that the cats didn't sell. What about one for your Mum and one each for your sons and then one left for your husband! xx
ReplyDeleteYou could send them to the controversial Russian, all-girl band - Pussy Riot?
ReplyDeleteI can't understand why they didn't sell. Some people just have no taste.
