Day Five

Yesterday's mitts were not the only ones I've made... I knitted these over the weekend too. Owl mitts as featured in the latest issue of Mollie Makes.

When I saw them on the cover I knew they would be a perfect Christmas present for a certain someone who is crazy about animals

I hope she likes them!

Knitted in Quince & Co. 'Osprey' (not Owl)... with loads of yarn left over!

  7. have had those owls on my to knit list for ages. They look brilliant in red! I do wonder how the magazine gets away with it though - that owl pattern has been around for years. Maybe the original designer wrote the article for them? Anyway, yours are fab!

  9. Now Gina, what did I say about 'where you lead, I follow?' One of those friends I told you about is an owl fanatic so now what do I do? I'm not even sure I've seen that magazine anywhere so I'd better stick to the idea of the Riva mitts probably! Enjoying the advent posts. Keep going girl.
