Day Seven

As I was a little premature with my Splash of Colour post last week I thought I would do another and show the progress on my granny stripe blanket which is pretty colourful.

When I started it in the summer I thought it might be completed in time for Jacob's birthday in October.

Now I'm wondering if it will be ready to give him for Christmas.

Because the problem is knowing when to stop , although at the moment my plan is to make it square. However that is still several stripes away!

More colour is obviously required.

  9. Sorry I have been very lazy and not ready your blogs for a while - I think your advent idea is super - and so like you to share everything with us all - I have now read seven days in one go!! The mince pies looked gorgeous - the frosty morning picture was perfect and I loved the stockings. I shall now ready all your blogs daily and look forward to them.

  12. I always find that working freely with color, whether in painting or knit or crochet, always lifts my spirits. It's as if my inner eye gets encouraged by playing with expected and unexpected combination and starts to dance around.

Hmmm, can an inner eye dance? Well, perhaps you know what I mean.
