...and my creative journey.
You've done something special with the toppings Gina ;-) They look delicious - how many are there now?Celiax
Oh they look so lovely, I wish I lived nearer so I could pop round.
Yum indeed, I can smell the spice here!!!!!Vivienne x
mmmm... you are making me hungry :)
I hope my DH does not see them, he will ask why I have not made some yet.....
Hi Gina I'm going to try and join in with the advent posts ......its a great idea .don't know if I have enough news tho ....xx
I bet there's none left by the weekend! And don't tell anyone, but I made home made soup yesterday!
wow, they look good, do they have a franipane-y kind of topping? Well done you for making your own mincemeat too - mine's coming out of a jar this year!
They are sooo gorgeous! Is there any chance you could send me the recipe? I've never made mince pies before. Of course my filling will have to come from a jar...K x
wish I'd remembered your version of mincemeat before my disastrous efforts...although I think I've now rescued the super boozy batch by mixing it in with a double batch of Delia's.
Gina, those mincemeat pies look absolutely scruptious! Thanks for the link to the recipe...but if I do get around to making any of these treats, I suspect it will be with ready-made mincemeat.I am rushing through lots of final Christmas preparations in my own version of Santa's workshop. xo
They look lovely! Mine usually come in a cardboard box in little silver dishes. But I may give making my own a go this year, but with a jar of mincemeat.....
And are there any left?!
Delicious - yum! They won't last long - you'd better get cracking on the second batch. Don't things look lovely displayed on a proper cake plate instead of just a flat one?
Is that a special topping they've got looks a bit like a mararoon to me?FionaHey my random word to enter is tiona!
Ooh ooh, I really fancy one. deliciousD
Now my stomach's rumbling! :-)
Oooh, yum! They looks delicious Gina!
Thanks for leaving me a comment. I love to read what you have to say and try to reply directly by email when possible... although it sometimes takes me a while!
