Day Eight

A job done

Except that is for
  • those that I've got to check out an address
  • those to whom I really must enclose a letter
  • those to whom I always send a hand made card
  • and those I will hand deliver
So I guess it's not so much a job done but a job started... but I'm getting there!

And on another note the results of my impromtu giveaway. I finished another stocking over the weekend so there are two winners... Greenpixey and Muriel... so along with my cards I will be posting some stockings too.

Back to my card writing now...

  2. !!!! Knew there was something else I'd got to do :-O

Seriously though, we've had one of those 'early morning phone call - life goes down an alternative route' starts to the day.

I guess Christmas cards will happen - just not high on the agenda.

  7. How do you do so much? We just have 24 hours in a day here in Scotland. Perhaps you have more. Thank you so much in advance for Callum's stocking. As to Christmas cards --that is why we have been selling so many in the Charity Christmas Card sale in the library where I am off to work soon. People actually write them! I must get around to it soon. I am just finishing off 2 more patchwork quilts for grandchildren, then cards it shall be.

  8. I was determined to finish the card writing last weekend, and just about managed it at 8pm on Sunday evening! I too have piles of those to post, those to put in the Scout post, those to hand deliver, etc. Hope you get it done soon. Those stockings are absolutely gorgeous. x

  9. AAgggghhhhh!! They've started arriving through the letterbox and lining up on the piano, signalling (a) the end of dusting until January (b) the need for stamps and a List (c) time to feel frustrated and overwhelmed because I didn't start making them back in October (d) that I have too many relatives
