Two Rules for Happiness

1. Embrace your inner child

Snowman built by Sam (age 26) and me (quite a bit older)

2. An apple and cinnamon muffin for afternoon tea

This counts as a "little bit of what I fancy"

  1. We didn't have that much snow! What a handsome and well-dressed snowman - it's always a bit sad when they start to thaw. Never mind, a delicious muffin will cheer you all up - Yum!

  2. Super snowman!

We didn't build a snowman but we went for a lovely walk - and only saw 2 children outside in the snow!!!

  3. There is nothing like a bit of snow to bring out your inner child and a delicious muffin is the perfect way of warming up afterwards!

  8. (typo on previous comment...) just saying that the Whippet loves snowmen - he steals their noses! One walk, two carrots to munch, one happy boy.

  9. I have been warm and snug indoors watching the local children play outside in the snow. We have one snowman, one snow wall and one snow hill for dragging a sled over. Very inventive

  13. Not so sure about the snow (we didn't get any thankfully), although that is a wonderful snowman but definitely a thumbs up for the muffin!

  14. The 'no cake' rule didn't last long then? No matter, you'll have burnt a zillion calories building Frosty x

  15. Oh Gina, you and yours definitely know how to enjoy playing in the snow, and also how to do some delicious baking indoors.

    Bravo!

Our weirdly warmish winter continues over here in New York.

  16. Gosh I thought it never snowed in England? Embracing your inner child is something I do regularly!! And of course, I also have a sweet treat daily as part of that.

  17. Oh yes, cake would do it for me too! Have just seen a great video over at Jane H's blog and it reminded me of you. There's a great line in there about getting out of your comfort zone... something I need to take on board too! Good luck in the snow!

  18. Your snowman is super but I'd better not show the little Lockets or they will be horribly jealous - we didn't get any proper snow at all :o( Lucy xx
