Fabric has been printed, dyed and stitched...
Areas have been embroidered and then cut back...
to reveal different fabrics...
or prints...
or even areas of Broiderie Anglaise.
Which I have to say has been my favourite part.
And finally I have produced my collection of two tops...
And three skirts.
Each presented with a set of samples
I've still got to mount it in a presentable form and collect together all my research into various files but the hard work has been done ready for moderation in two weeks time, which means I've got a whole month off before the next module... although I have got work to finish for an exhibition, more teaching and the small matter of four bridesmaids dresses to make. I think I might take the weekend off though!
It looks great - and not a corset in sight. Bit worried about your enthusiasm for churning buttons out by the dozen but I'm sure that will lose it's appeal over time. Happy Easter
ReplyDeleteYour colours are absolutely fantastic. You need your own clothing range. I would be first in the queue to buy something.
