We don't like snow!

And neither do I! Our new boiler was due to come at 9am today. Delayed by the weather, it arrived at 4pm - too late to do anything with it, so it's sitting in it's box in the garage. Looks like another night for wrapping up warm in front of the fire.

... maybe tomorrow?

Snuggle up there Missus. fingers crossed it all gets sorted tomorrow (although obviously not crossed for too long. We don't want them getting frozen together!)

poor you - hope you are all nice and toasty tomorrow - my chickens hate this weather - they didn't come out from their henhouse until midmorning!!! and then spent the rest of the day hiding in one of the stables!!!

Argh, it's really not the right time to be without a boiler! Hope your fire is doing the job.

My father kept hens when I was a girl and they didn't know what to make of snow. Why do boilers always pick the coldest weather to break down? Your crochet blanket and stripey socks look very cosy but I hope you wont need them much longer.

Gina...you poor so and so....you must be thoroughly and utterly fed up.

Oh poor you. Why does one's boiler never pack up in the height of summer?

Stay cosy and warm Gina!

My hens have ventured over the snow and to their dismay is wasn't an endless void into white space!

Hope the new boiler is fitted and running smoothly very soon.

Just a thimbleful....

Well, Gina, YOU look very cosy snuggled up in your socks and blanket - but why haven't you knitted warm clothing for the egg producers? Shame on you! I see a knitting pattern coming on - hats for hens, or booties for bantams.

Hope you're snuggled up, and today IS the day.

I love the photo of your hens! Mine are most displeased too, but still laying, so they can't be that upset!
Love all that yarn there too, mmmmm!!

I do love your socks - they're so colourful and look just the right thing for this weather! x

Oh my goodness..if you can survive this weather without a boiler do you really need one?
I do love your chickens and am rather envious..in fact I have 'henvy'.
Be warm.

Our heating is making some terrible noises - and I don't have a fire to curl up in front of! Please can I come and share yours?
