Fun Guaranteed!

Do you live within easy reach of Peterborough?
Are you free on Saturday?
Do you fancy learning how to make little books?

I'm running a workshop at Art and Stitch this Saturday, 23rd January to make small books with origami folded pages. The covers are bonded layers of fabrics with trapped leaves, which are then machine stitched. We will cover some basic free machining as well as learning to make braids on the machine and at the end of the day you will have completed your own little book to take home. There are still some places available so get in touch with me or Angela at Art and Stitch if you are interested. Would love to see you there!

Fun guaranteed!

  7. Well, although my answers to questions one and two are, "sorry, no," if I could get over there, I would love to be at your class. It's sure to be lots of fun for all, and will result in encouraging more artistry. Hooray!

  14. Don't be silly/I'm getting my haircut/Yes.

Instead, I will be a bit busy packing up a very small late Christmas gift made from woad dyed fabrics and threads for a dear friend; small because I still can't do anything for too long. (Stitch, maintain interest, hold a needle and thread)but designed to add a further air of sophistication and finesse to lunchtime dining alone.

    Enjoy your day!
