Hot off the needles...

Another pair of Maine Morning Mitts... but this time for me!

Because they are so very easy and quick to make...
Because I had a skein of Rowan Colourscape begging to be used...
Because a girl can never have too many pairs of mitts...

And because they really are so very warm and cosy!

I like these! I wonder if I could use up all the odd bits of sock wool I have left over.

Thanks for the pattern. I got a pair of fingerless gloves with a mitten hood you pull over your fingers for christmas but the thumb isn't open. So a pair like this will be ideal for when I'm out with my camera.

I agree - you can't have too many pairs can you. Last week, I had 3 pairs with me, one pair on my hands, one pair in my pockets, and one pair in my bag. Perhaps I'm aspiring octopus - I just need another pair, oh and a few more hands!

Lovely mitts btw

I have just started knitting again and I am promising myself that if I complete my project I will by some of that lovely Rowan Colourscape wool, I just love the colour blends. Your mitts have inspired me to hurry up and finish my project.

Do you take commissions on mittens? They're great!

Makes me want to rush out and buy some of that yarn. They are very stylish and so practical for those who suffer from cold hands but still want to be able to use their fingers.
