A textile blog about food and family life
...and my creative journey.
now i think i'd like to be invited to your house for tea and muffins. yummy. btw: i tried your great sandwich idea (cheese and salsa). mmm.mmmm.good. and don't worry about the ironing. it will be there tomorrow.
*od the ironing... chocolate muffins are far more important!ginny x
You could always eat a muffin (or three) to give you the energy for the ironing..................
I have all the ingredients for muffins, but haven't got round to them yet despite my best efforts, it's been one of those 'going wrong' type of days today ... overlocker decided to be particularly tempramental, fabric refused to grain, photshop refused to co-operate, ironing didn't do itself, neither did the housework (I have to do EVERYTHING round here!!) ... and i haven't even got round to painting my nails either... ! So I will content myself with the thougt of your chocolate chunk muffin. Thank you very much! xx
Gina, you are so talented and you can bake too!xx
Chocolate is medicinal - especially for times of high artistic stress - so you were just being sensible.
i think they are a necessity!!!x
Yum! Now you can't say that about ironing, can you? ;o)
Just a thimbleful...You're just too good to be true,Can't hold a candle to you,You're an inspiration to allwhen with your back to the wallYou still find moments to takeDelicious muffins to bakeYou're just too good to be trueI wish I could be like you.
The best kind of fuel xx
That sounds just the right balance in life! Our ironing pile is particulary big too!
That looks so delicious! I have a huge ironing pile, too, but unfortunately don't have muffins to show for it.Pomona x
Glad to see you have your prioties straight - chocolate beats ironing hands down!
Only you would find time in a busy week for baking :-)
woman cannot live by ironing alone, but with your chocolate muffins she's got a fighting chance! yum they look so good Gina. Jane x
