... I would like to thank everyone involved in The Importance of Being Earnest (I know some of you read this!). For the past three nights the cast have treated us to outstanding performances - I remained equally entranced every time I saw it. Fantastic... well done to all of you.
Yesterday I was out with the Young Embroiderers all day, followed by the last night performance and the after show party at our house. I've just washed the last of the glasses this morning (while the rest of my household catch up with their sleep!) and I'm thinking how wonderful it would be to put my feet up. But there is much degree work to catch up with plus planning to do as I'm away teaching next weekend (Beginners machine embroidery at Missenden Abbey... there are still places available) so I think if I'm to be sensible a little blogging break might be advisable. Maybe just a week... maybe more... but I'll be back before long.

I would say enjoy your break but quite frankly it sounds so busy that you may get more freetime by crawling inside your computer and hiding in Blogland for a week or so!
ReplyDeleteGina, you're making me feel both exhausted and lazy!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the show went well, and sorry I missed it. Maybe next time!

Just a thimbleful....
ReplyDeleteWe'll all miss you, but you deserve a little 'me-time'
I'm so glad the play was a success. Go get some rest!
ReplyDeleteithink you thoroughly deserve your break - although i'm not sure that's what i would call it - more in the way of 'a change is as good as a rest' as my mum would say!

Glad everything went so well and good luck with Missenden Abbey and the degree work. I'm delighted to be able to leave a comment for you as sometimes this machine just wont let me. That choc.chip muffin looked so gorgeous, it was probably my drooling all over the keyboard that stopped it working! I don't suppose it's any good saying enjoy your rest because it doesn't sound as if you'll get one, but it's one less thing to think about. Dont work too hard.
ReplyDeleteHave a great break Gina!
ReplyDeleteYou know we'll still be here when you come back..............!
