It feels as though summer is here.
The sun is shining and we've had a family barbecue... you know what it's like... I've marinaded meat, made bread and salads...
I've mixed a large jug of my very special rum punch...
as well as making a summer pudding. But it's a barbecue... so Stewart cooked lunch!
But after several of those rum punches I don't mind if he takes the credit.
I'm just enjoying the tennis.
And wasn't Andy's win just the icing on your summer pudding!!! :)

He won!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd well done for all the BBQ prep.
Ax
You make your own bread!!!!! Now that puts the majority of us to shame. Love a rum cocktail.
ReplyDeleteThat was a BBQ to be proud of and what a result from Wimbledon! I had a feeling he might make it this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab summer's day Gina - had a very similar one. I think I will have a pimms headache in the morning.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm hungry now.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it when men cook, women do all the work... looks scrummy. Enjoyed the tennis and I don't usually watch.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely way to spend the day - the rum punch sounds gorgeous - best to let someone else cook the meat! Yeh and there is a British Tennis Champion - so all good.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that pudding looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteLove what Vivienne said :D
It all sounds so civilised and something we should be able to do so much more often if the weather co-operated. That summer pudding looks yummy. Have not had that for such a long time. I shall try and rectify that now!
ReplyDeleteSorry I don't do tennis, but I do do summer pudding and this one looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the crochet bunting pattern, I'm struggling with the fist square of a granny blanket at the moment, so the jury is well out on it as a technique for me.
Bet it was a great barbie with fabulous food.
