I was at Heathrow airport at silly o'clock this morning to meet someone special.
The bedroom is cleared, the fridge is stocked and
I'm very happy to have my boy back home.
Although sad that he has had to cut his travels short because my Dad is so poorly.
But proud that he has come home early to spend time with his Grandad.

You must be so pleased. No wonder you are proud of him; too often today young people are portrayed as self centred - not this young man obviously.

Life can be so bittersweet at times. How wonderful to have your son home again, but so sad about the circumstances. Enjoy every moment you can with both special men.
That he's come home at such a time says such a lot about this young man of yours. Be proud Mum (I know you are), you have a gem there and it's good to know he's going to be close when you need family the most.

Sorry to read that your Dad is so unwell but, understandably, you sound jolly happy that your boy is home. Mine is currently en route from the wilds of Northern Scotland, it will be good to see his smiley face too.
