My Dad

27th August 1933 - 28th August 2012

I'm sure you'll forgive me if I'm not around much over the next few weeks. But I will let you know how Gill and I get on in our Starlight walk. Just in case you've missed my previous posts here and here, we're  raising money for the Garden House Hospice. There's still time to sponsor me:

  6. Your Dad looked so handsome in his uniform. Grenadier Guards if I'm not mistaken - my son was a Grenadier. Cope with each day as it comes - thinking of you and your family.

  12. What a beautiful picture. I thought for a moment that he had been a Royal Marine, as my brother had been but the badges and uniform are marginally different. Treasure your memories of him Gina.

  26. Sso sad to read that your dear Dad has died - I'm think of you and know a little how it feels (this week 12 yrs ago my Dad died) and we all grieve in different ways.

I hope you enjoy the walk on Saturday - and maybe it will help a little too.

It's one of those big life stages that makes you different inside - so don't beat yourself up if your creativity goes all rubbish for a while.

    Take care and take time
