Sunshine and Friends

This morning I met Celia and Emma

for a wonderful walk around the Winter Gardens at Anglesey Abbey.

The sun shone...

and whilst Celia and Emma spoke knowledgably about plants and gardens

I was mesmerised by the stunning array of colours and textures...

without a clue what I was looking at for most of the time!

And when we had finished there was time for tea and cake... (although I'm still resisting)

and chatting, of course. It couldn't have been a lovelier morning.

  12. Gina, I've just visted Celia's post about this same walk, and now am delighted to see your photos.

Again, I say, Central Park is in deep hibernation. Not much of a show going on there. Still. On my day off tomorrow, I will head out for a look.

  21. Beautiful pictures, what a wonderful to have nearby! Those birches remind me of Klimt's paintings of them, the way nature creates patterns just be being itself.
Well done fro resisting the cake, what's the secret?!!
