Stewart: Well, don't think there's anything on TV tonight.
Me: There's that Italian detective thing we watched last week... Zen?
Stewart: Didn't really get it, didn't work for me.
So... do I tell him?
A textile blog about food and family life ...and my creative journey.
Turn the heating up and hope he falls asleep!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what he means. How could you not get Rufus Sewell and Greg Wise? I'm with you.
ReplyDeleteBest NOT to tell him methinks............
ReplyDeleteno, don't tell him. it can be our little secret....
ReplyDeleteNo keep it to yourself, that's what I'm doing. Dave's watching it for the story, WHAT STORY? who needs a story?
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Stuart. The show was fairly blah. Rufus Sewell and Greg Wise though? Mmmmhmmm.
ReplyDeleteDiane's idea is good. Didn't he play the part of Tom the Builder in The Pillars of the Earth? I know I'm too old to say this, but Corrrr!!
ReplyDeleteWho cares about the story when you've got eye candy like that ;)
ReplyDeleteNo, just let him wander off while you enjoy some quality alone time with Mr Sewell.
ReplyDeleteAlong with half the rest of the female population.
(I'd say Phwoaaarrrr, but I am far too refined.)
We just watch Dancing on Ice!!
ReplyDeleteI hope this show reaches our shores eventually.
ReplyDeleteI woudn't but we will know...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile :-) Sadly I have missed this series. I shall have to get it on i-player! Serious eye candy!
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is how does his suit still look immaculate when he has been swimming in it?
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard my dog woke up!
ReplyDeletegrrrrrr :)
ReplyDeletemy other half still thinks i watch "Grand Designs" for the ideas on house building . . . . .
You could always offer to watch it with the sound off- he might pick up the hint! x
ReplyDeletelol, luckily Adrian my hubby got it so I could swoon all I liked without him noticing ;-) Thank goodness he didn't get stuck in the cave this week, that was rather scary!

ReplyDeleteDid you seen him in the BBC Taming of the Shrew? I think my husband has had a bit of a thing going for Rufus ever since watching that...I think it was the long leather boots. Not to mention the stripped to the waist getting washed in a trough scene from Cold Comfort Farm.
ReplyDeleteOh they can be SO naive can't they. My mum kept telling me that there was a new series with the bloke from the Antiques programme (Ian McShane) When I saw the trailer I had to point out that although there were similarities, Lovejoy must be about 70 now!
ReplyDeleteHahaha -- thanks for the funny today!
ReplyDeleteI told Mr Twigs, he really wouldn't enjoy it. I watched Rufus I mean erm Zen all alone with a bar of choc and some wine - thank heavens I can drink with the antibiotics. He is lovely isn't he?
ReplyDeleteTwiggy x
Luckily my husband enjoyed Zen. I'm pretty sure we were enjoying it from very different perspectives.
