I'm not sure why I've baked double chocolate chip muffins today.
Double chocolate chip muffins with extra chocolate icing on the top, baked in very smart paper cases (a present from Miriam... thank you!)

I don't think you have to find a reason to make double chocolate muffins-they look beautiful! If you need someone to test them for you....?x
ReplyDeleteThose chocolate muffins look really delicious! Worry about the diet after the batch is finished.
ReplyDeleteI have put on weight just looking at them............
ReplyDeleteThey are triple choc. muffins with chocolate on top as well - triple yum! No one needs a reason to make choc.chip muffins Gina.
ReplyDeleteI made pineapple cake. Given the general grotness outside, why on earth would anyone not want to bake today?!
ReplyDeleteThey do look good, I don't know how you're going to resist! ;)

mmmmm! they look fab - just give in and start the diet tomorrow ;)
ReplyDeleteThose muffins look fabulous, as do the cases. i have some stashed away, I just couldn't resist them.
ReplyDeleteJust a thimbleful....
ReplyDeleteDouble decadence! Why, oh why is it so difficult to lose weight? We went out to lunch today and now I just feel stuffed - I ought to go out for a run - but I wont.
they are good - have used this recipe of yours but no choc on the top as yet!!!
ReplyDeleteI baked two quiche today. I like your baking better!!
ReplyDeleteI meant "quiches" - must have been stupified by the thought of so much chocolate. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow they do look good! Rachel came for lunch today and brought chocolate fairy cakes for afternoon tea. Sadly I couldn't resist, well it would have been rude after her baking efforts!
ReplyDeleteI cycled to rugby AND took the youngest ice skating today. Am busy wondering if that has earned me a sliver of the Marmalade cake I made on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI don't like this 'not just eating what you fancy' lark.
Eat one (or two) and call it breakfast...or lunch...or tea!
ReplyDeleteYour will power is astounding. Did you lick the spoon as you made them? That does not count as eating cake if you did.
ReplyDeletehmm is that not eaten one Gina - meaning I've actually eaten three ??
ReplyDeleteWell done for having restraint !
And is is really double or quadruple chocolate chip if you have cocoa in it and then icing too - sounds even more decadant
i admire your willpower - i know i could not resist, they look scrumptious!

Wow -- that's IMPRESSIVE! They looks so amazing -- I would definitely have caved. I'm trying to be good too, but I had to cheat tonight with some M&Ms -- it's not going too well LOL!
