Bon Voyage
Thank you for all the lovely messages and comments on my post yesterday. Not sure I'm up to replying at the moment... feeling just a bit emotional! Been up since 4am to see these four lads off from Heathrow this morning.
They all had their heads shaved this weekend... travelling in solidarity! I'm off to London now for a day of stewarding!

oh gina - i've been through this. they come home knowing so much more...
Have a great time boys, and keep busy Mum! No need to say that - you are always busy. I'm sure they'll look out for each other and it will be a marvellous experience for each of them.
Poor Gina, I'm can only imagine how much you'll miss him - but just think of the washing mountain he'll present you with when he gets back xx
I'm thinking of you Gina, and will be doing so even more as my Tall Small heads off for her first overnight school trip next week - any advice to avoid weeping at departure time?!

Oh Gina. My one goes off for 5 days. So much smaller, the trip so much shorter. The emotions exactly the same.
Here's hoping he has a fantastic time. I think it's great when young people go and explore the world.
