From One Extreme to Another

Yesterday it was wild, wet and windy... today unseasonably warm and sunny. Not at all like November.

But perfect for a long walk after lunch.

Which of course means guilt free cake for afternoon tea after all that fresh air and exercise.

Can I offer you a slice of raspberry and cream sponge?

  2. Funny how your pics of the landscape look so much like mine in ND, yet are miles and miles away. I would love a LOT of that cake.

  3. Yes please! Would you send a slice for Cliff too?

We walked about 7 miles this morning, checking out the Rambling Club's 15 mile walk for next Sunday.

    Wasn't the weather glorious!

  7. Just a thimbleful.....

You make me feel guilty, Gina, we went out to lunch today at the other end of the village and FULLY intended to walk there but somehow ran out of time! I am full of roast pork and crackling, so I'll have my piece of cake another day!
