A look of impressionism...... I like them, hope all went well. Having "been there", I know that it can be both daunting and exciting.......... good luck with the tutorial.
I can see why you're pleased - it's really carried through well. But why do I find the spikey effect of the stitching 'disturbing'? And even stranger, why do I find the five o'clock shadow so 'in keeping'...? Await the feedback with interest!
Love where you're going with this, i can see how the degree training is guiding your thinking, hope that's not too presumptuous, but there is a really different, outside the box feeling to theses portraits, congrats on getting your head round the project so successfully. My favourite is the top left, it carries over the quality you had in one of your sketches so well. Lovely to see your journey, thanks for sharing, hope the tutorial went well
Just a thimbleful....
