The Execution of a Proposal

I have stitched almost continuously since Saturday...

The first portrait was completed while I waited for the visitors who didn't come!

Another two were finished on Sunday.

And the final one finished yesterday...
the five o'clock shadow on this is a little disturbing!

Yesterday I had a "well, what was the point of all that" moment but overall I think I'm pleased.
My tutorial is this evening at 5.30!

I find these a bit scary - are they meant to be? Sort of planet of the apes. Sorry for not being complimentary.

A look of impressionism...... I like them, hope all went well. Having "been there", I know that it can be both daunting and exciting.......... good luck with the tutorial.

I can see why you're pleased - it's really carried through well. But why do I find the spikey effect of the stitching 'disturbing'? And even stranger, why do I find the five o'clock shadow so 'in keeping'...? Await the feedback with interest!

I hope your tutor is, too - seems like a hard one to please. I think they are amazing, though!

Love where you're going with this, i can see how the degree training is guiding your thinking, hope that's not too presumptuous, but there is a really different, outside the box feeling to theses portraits, congrats on getting your head round the project so successfully.
My favourite is the top left, it carries over the quality you had in one of your sketches so well.
Lovely to see your journey, thanks for sharing, hope the tutorial went well
