Get Me To The Church On Time

When one is required to make a cheesecake for a rather special royal wedding party it can only really be be red, white and blue...

Okay... I didn't actually make it for "the" wedding party but for a friend who is hosting a garden party today. Our phone box has been redecorated for this special day too...

What ever one might feel about the monarchy and the royal wedding, today is still all about two young people starting out on a life together and I for one wish them lots of love and happiness. Now if you excuse me I'm off to put the telly on... I don't want to miss seeing that dress!

WILLIAM AND KATE

CONGRATULATIONS!

  4. The dress was lovely, I hope they will be very happy. I agree with Gill about the Princesses, I think maybe their mother is their fashion adviser and we all know she had some real fashion disasters in her time!
Hope you enjoyed your garden party are you now living in Royal Cambridge?

  7. Your cheesecake would have graced the Royal table Gina, and I love the phone box. I have put our Union flag out and have been glued to the TV all morning. Wonderful ceremony and pageantry - London must be bursting at the seams.

  9. Tuned in here in Wisconsin as soon as I got up at 4:00 this morning (regular wake up time anyway). Kate was spectacular and elegant. Don't know how they made a wedding watched by 2 billion people feel so intimate. Congratulations to the young couple!

  19. It was such a wonderful day, wasn't it?

SO now the question is - when are "our" Duke and Duchess going to visit Cambridge?! My girls were disappointed to miss the Queen the other day but I didn't really think I could let them skip the first day back after Easter ...
