Give Me Cake!

I've been good since early January:
No biscuits and no cake
(Weightwatcher's country slice is NOT a cake...
it is thin air masquarading as cake)

There has been no chocolate, no cheese and no butter...
(I do like a little bit of butter to my bread!*)

But it has paid off and I have lost the 10lb
that mysteriously attached to my middle during 2010.
And you will be relieved to know I can do up my trousers again

So I thought I would celebrate...
with cake!

That way I can repeat the process all over again next January!

  2. congrats on dropping the weight. I think I need to do this. I know I need to do this. I know I will never be thin but I would be happier to drop a jeans size.

  6. Celebrating in style. I haven't eaten any cakes for ages but my weight isn't coming off. I shall wait until the summer and then it will drop off, might just make some cakes in the meantime.

  7. Well done on having such great discipline in the time of the year when you most need cake and nice foods. I have Lent to 'look forward to' for that!

    Enjoy your treat! x

  8. Well done Gina. Love the cakestand and the cakes look even better. I must learn some control and adjust my diet but I need it to be a bit warmer before I start.

  12. Congratulations on the weight loss, you've done very well to lose that amount in such a short time.

My mother was a weightwatcher when I was a child and I remember so clearly her weighing out her food before the rest got shared out amongst the family. She was the one who got the most funnily enough!

Your cakes look scrumptious, how many have you eaten I wonder?

  13. Hahaha -- you diet the same way I do. It always kills me to diet during the best soup and stew months, but it's worth it for the CAKES the rest of the year LOL! Congrats on another successful year!

  20. Congratulations Gina - I wish I had the will power to lose weight but I guess it's just not a top priority for me at the moment. When the time is right I'm sure I'll be able to be good again! Lucy x

  22. Hooray hooray! I've managed 8 lbs since the start of the year and am now back in the 'ideal' zone of the Wii. Not quite as strict as you, just more veggies, smaller portions and some extra walking. I have a little way to go still, but I'm feeling v. proud of myself.
