You might think I went to London...
to see the
Elephant Parade...
or possibly to see the
Quilt exhibition again...
and although I did both of those things, the real reason I went to London was to meet some friends.
Friends, who although I had never met either of them before, felt like dear old friends (and I use the word "old" to mean familiar as both were clearly MUCH younger than me!)
And as we laughed and chatted it didn't feel at all like we had never met before... but then that is one of the amazing things about blogging!
Sounds like a nice time was had by all. The elephants are great. There was a similar exhibition in Norwich a few years ago. They had been placed all around the city and we walked for miles trying to find as many as possible, and all because Steph collects elephants.
ReplyDeleteI really love those elephants!
ReplyDeleteThose elephants are lovely, glad you had a super day out. Went to Uppingham yesterday and they are going to have hippopotamus's and they had one drapped in a quilt to advertise the quilt show it looked great.
ReplyDeleteThank *you* so much! I had such a wonderful time. I do hope we can do it again very soon. And I love the dandelion elephant!
