My head had been so full of thoughts about the avant garde and post modernism this week that I was feeling in need of some light relief...
a certain amount of silliness was required...
So what better when staying up late on election night watching the results come in than creating a few of my own monster raving loonies...

Well I'm not sure which one I'd choose to Hang with, I think I'd have to have a good look at their seat first!!!!!
ReplyDeletewonderful! love the little cross-stitching.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the way Naughty Nick and Dashing Dave are smooching up together.
ReplyDeleteGive me Grumpy Gordon any day!
Hello! I just caught up with you and recent posts. Always enjoyable reading. Always inspiring work.
ReplyDeleteWonderful fun Gina - better than the BBC's over-complex 3D animated paving slabs or a bleary eyed Dimbleby anyday!
ReplyDeleteCelia
PS I fell asleep very quickly!
I like Naughty Nick's colours... Shallow? Moi????
ReplyDeleteJust found your previous post too.... when did you sneak that one in? I SO recognised those Laura Ashley fabrics!!!!!!!! I had them too..........
Very good.
ReplyDeleteJust a thimbleful.....
ReplyDeleteTalk about strange bedfellows... I notice that Dave is head and shoulders above the other two !!!
But where are all the coloured worms?!
ReplyDeleteit's amazing how much sewing you can get done watching election results come in, I got loads done!!
ReplyDeleteI think they all need to hang out together. I am wondering if they had botox??
ReplyDeleteOh wow they are great and much better than the real one's - We should call for a new election immediately!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're all gorgeous, and could possibly do a much better job than their real-life counterparts!
ReplyDeleteI have a strong suspicion we're all going to be doing this election thing again within a couple of years!
x
So, are Nick and Dave chatting happily away cooking up some plans then?
ReplyDeleteHee hee! They're fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI went to bed early and let them get on with it! I like the look of your trio and they'd probably do as good a job of running the country as those we have to rely on.
ReplyDeleteCan you do an Alex Salmond (gotta be a kilt in there somewhere), a Nick Griffin and a Nigel Farage (without any banners or propellers)?
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Just because he looks so great and for no particular party reason (politics are not my thing ) I love Dashing Dave :-)
ReplyDeleteOn this occasion - Gordon gets my vote - but only because he's pink x
ReplyDeletefantastic ! : )
ReplyDeleteI have so enjoyed your entertaining blog. I made a worn and washed quilt for my daughter for Xmas and I can feel another one coming on!
