Pass the Book

Back in December, Emma of Silver Pebble started a little blogging game called "Pass the Book"... a giveaway with a difference. The book in question is called "Time Remembered" and it is a gentle story of Miss Read's recollections of her school days back in the 1920s. Despite my days at primary school being at least forty years later there were many parts of the book that brought back memories. The idea is that the book gets passed from one blogger to another... along with one or two other little giveaway goodies. The first winner of the book was Carolyn from Love Stitching Red and then she passed it on to Cathy of One Pink Goose.

I was lucky enough to win the Pass the Book giveaway from Cathy. If you've not discovered Cathy's blog before do go and take a look. She is not only a talented artist and posts lots of lovely pictures of her own work, she also posts loads of inspirational pictures of the work of other artists.

Along with the book Cathy sent me a photograph and some of her gorgeous prints

As well as a whole stackful of her cards which really are beautiful. Those chickens are my favourites.

So if you would like to be the next recipient of "Time Remembered" leave me a comment by this time next week (Tuesday 18th May) and I will pick a winner. There will be a few other bits and bobs thrown in the parcel too... I'm just not sure what they will be yet!

  1. The book sounds great, obviously though I would need to use my imagination to take me back in time.
