My friend's partner often buys her lovely flowers from a well known supermarket... that come "finely" wrapped in pretty grey organza. Knowing that I'm rather fond of pretty fabrics, this often gets passed in my direction.
So for her birthday it seemed like a fun idea to make her a special flower from the organza.

How lovely that you get given these pieces of fabric. I have watched people throw out all sort of things I could use and have only recently been plucking up the courage to ask for them..... It's lovely that you have made something so wantable from something that would only have been thrown. I am sure she is going to love it..........
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely - your friend is a lucky lady twice over one that she gets bought beautifully wrapped flowers and two to have a friend to make so thoughtful a gift.
