Feeling a little sad at missing the wonderful bloggy picnic, I felt the need for some restorative baking this morning.
This also required some pretty serious restorative scoffing!

ReplyDeleteBTW please don't make that poor Lindt rabbit fear for its life for a protracted period of time like that Monkee Maker woman did last year.
Were your ears burning yesterday? You might have been mentioned ... and missed. We knew you were there in spirit.

These look fantastic, I tried making them once when I first married and they cam out like cricket balls. I now use a breadmaker :-)

Well, as we had a mammoth 7 and a half hour journey home last night I reckon I could do with some restorative scoffing of those fabulous looking hot cross buns too!

So sorry to hear that you have not been well. I hope that you prescribed yourself chocolate therapy and managed to take the medicine without too many side effects.
ReplyDeleteOh happy easter. These look sensational.
ReplyDeleteAnd such a lovely blog...xx
wow these do look like mighty fine buns. Were they easy to make? I'm feeling and urge to bake, but as i just got back from a week away (and therefore need more rest somehow?) , a simple recipe would be most appealing!
