A Cupcake....
and Crochet Party!
Today Celia, Val, Emma and the little Cookies and Pebbles all joined me for lunch. Everyone brought food! Delicious egg themed cupcakes from Celia....
Scrumptious carrot and orange muffins from Emma....
and some very moreish dotty cookies from Val.
After we had eaten so much that we couldn't move (even Monkey seems to have passed out on the table)...
We found a box big enough to put the children in....
and we had some crochet lessons with another cup of tea.
The most beautiful pale blue eggs you could imagine. I'm thinking cake... or perhaps boiled with soldiers?

There wasn't too much crochet done as a very tiny little Pebble was quite determined she was not going to go to sleep and miss the fun! But that's okay because it means we've got a good excuse to do it all again... and "Cupcakes and Crochet" makes the best sort of party!
Special thanks must go to the "Spice Girls"... not only did Celia bring some lovely seeds and plants to go in my soon to be dug vegetable patch, she also brought some eggs from Ginger, Saffron and Nutmeg.

Blimey, you're quick off the mark! All the Cookies had a fabulous time, and thank you so much for hosting. We would love to do it all again sometime very soon (it gives me an excuse to snuggle Miss TinyP too!)
Hurray! It was magic and I DID manage one flower petal! The eldest P had a marvellous time, the littlest P was so excited she was up all day and I enjoyed it so much! Yikes though, have to catch up on everything else now!

Oh boiled with soldiers every time if they are newlaid eggs. What a great idea - lovely crochet and equally lovely cupcakes. Naughty but nice.
Oh Poo! I'm sooooo jealous! I want to have been there too! Little Pebbles, Little Cookies, Big Pebbles and Cookies, You, Celia (haven't net you yet but you sound lovely), cakes, crochet, cardboard box houses and passed-out monkeys - it all sounds perfect!

Gosh,looks like fun. I've taken up crocheting again after many years of ignorance!It's the best for releaving stress........I've not got such a wonderful choice of yarn though.

Cupcake and crochet party - sounds fab, but without the crochet for me as I have no idea how to, so I'll just eat the cupcakes! Sounds good to me!!
