It Feels Good...

...and I knew that it would!
But why does it take the threat of strangers visiting my home to make me tidy up my workspace.

I did take a "before" photo a few weeks ago but I was so ashamed of the disgusting state of my studio that I deleted it. The floor and desk were obliterated with piles of paper, fabric and general rubbish. But I have worked all week and it is now clean and tidy... and I actually feel inspired to work there. Let's see if I can keep it that way.

Must dash... labels to put up and more work to put out before I go off to our Embroiderer's Guild supper party this evening (Quiches and cheescake made this morning!) to hear Gwen Hedley talk. Then it's open to the public all weekend... please come and visit.

I am full of admiration and envy for your tidy and organised workspace. I can't keep mine tidy for more than a day! Wonderful to have a talk by Gwen Hedley - have a great evening and lots of lovely visitors this weekend.

It looks lovely Gina! We're hoping to pop along and see what you've been up to. And at least it was just your studio - my stuff is all over our bedroom floor, yikes.

Visitors are a Godsend for us too. I wonder if our house would ever get tidy at times, never mind a work studio. Oh well! Gardens and land jobs call

It is amazing how we all have to blitz the place before visitors arrive! Looks good though and I hope you have lots and lots of visitors

Hope it goes well for you, Gina. There's nothing like having visitors to make me tidy a bit more effectively than I usually do! x

If it wasn't for the small consideration of the distance I'd be there like a shot. Hope you get lots of people!
