This and That

It's been one of those days... it started with a whole clear day ahead of me and then I've dithered about doing a bit of this and a bit of that without feeling I've actually achieved anything... do you have those days? The reality is that I've probably done quite a lot but nothing feels finished... except perhaps for this tiny little embroidery.

Only about 2" square it's a little badge for Jacob's girlfriend.

Because she's celebrating a special birthday today!

  9. That's a cutie kitty, happy birthday Paige. Completing that embroidery would be enough for me - like most of us, I rarely end the day feeling that I've wrapped anything up.

  13. Oh Gina, do I ever know about how hour glass sand seems sometimes to have a different speed.

The embroidered badge certainly shows that you've made a unique gift today. (Funny...I also have been knitting away on a gift today, but am no where near finished, just a bit closer.)

  14. That badge is brilliant Gina - so cheering. When you usually describe your days it always sounds as though you're at top speed, achieving absolutely stacks of things. A slower, more leisurely day sounds good to me! I find my brain needs a more bimbly less focussed day now and again - it seems to recover and then think of new things that way.
