I am Procrastinating

Given a big bowlful of these,
there was only one thing to do...

Make jam!

But then that required the making of some scones...
it had to be done!

Today... I promise... I will start this essay...
but after I've had some breakfast.

Are scones and jam allowed for breakfast?

  1. Well, that depends on what you're planning for lunch ...

I'm off with my harvesting box to gather our gooseberries today. Yum!

  2. You could always have made your own butter as well, that would have put the essay off for a while longer...........

    :O)))

  4. Yes! Jam looks great - I've never thought to make gooseberry jam, always made fool. I'm not allowed to make any more jam until we've eaten up all of last year's...

  5. Just a thimbleful....

George picked all our blackcurrants on Sunday so I HAVE to do the same thing - Jam!
Surely a balanced diet is a scone in each hand?

  11. Once you start writing it, it will go like a breeze I am sure. Good luck with the essay - I learned so much in that module about contemporary issues in the art world. It really changed me. Good luck with everything in fact - I love seeing you wearing 'the fascinator' by the way.

  12. If you have an important essay to write Gina, anything is allowed for breakfast. I have some gooseberries in the freezer waiting to be turned into jam - I thought it was marginally healthier than gooseberry fool! Hope the essay is going well.
