A textile blog about food and family life
...and my creative journey.
Well, that depends on what you're planning for lunch ...I'm off with my harvesting box to gather our gooseberries today. Yum!
You could always have made your own butter as well, that would have put the essay off for a while longer...........:O)))
Sounds like a wonderful breakfast.
Yes! Jam looks great - I've never thought to make gooseberry jam, always made fool. I'm not allowed to make any more jam until we've eaten up all of last year's...
Just a thimbleful....George picked all our blackcurrants on Sunday so I HAVE to do the same thing - Jam!Surely a balanced diet is a scone in each hand?
mmmmm, yummy! I made some strawberry/gooseberry jam last week - was going to pick raspberries/loganberries this morning but its chucking it down with rain!!
Yummy! That was definitely more important than the essay... and yes scones and jam for breakfast are allowed :-)I've made jam and jelly... now I have to do those illustrations...Celiax
yes indeed!sadly i have no scones and i burnt my gooseberry jam, though it still tastes good : )
Oooohhhh what a luxurious breakfast. No naughty snacks for you today.
You're so funny! Looks yummy and I love your attitude. Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow, eh???
Once you start writing it, it will go like a breeze I am sure. Good luck with the essay - I learned so much in that module about contemporary issues in the art world. It really changed me. Good luck with everything in fact - I love seeing you wearing 'the fascinator' by the way.
If you have an important essay to write Gina, anything is allowed for breakfast. I have some gooseberries in the freezer waiting to be turned into jam - I thought it was marginally healthier than gooseberry fool! Hope the essay is going well.
whatever takes your fancy I say!!
Scones and jam are definitely allowed for breakfast - as long as you get on with that essay!!! Lucy xx
Are scones allowed for Breakfast? YES!That lunch and dinner taken care of too, more time to get on with the essay.
Well I could eat one now (with lots of jam) so I say they would make a good midnight feast!
Oh they look absolutely scrummy - I think you can have scones whenever!
Thanks for leaving me a comment. I love to read what you have to say and try to reply directly by email when possible... although it sometimes takes me a while!
