Off my Needles

A  couple of weeks ago I shared this shawl... that was still on my needles.

Well it is now off my needles, blocked and has hardly left my neck.

I love it! So much so that I'm almost sad that it has warmed up over the past couple of days... almost but not quite!

I've also really enjoyed knitting it too and will almost certainly knit this pattern again. I could have cosy scarves in all sorts of lovely colours

  5. Gina, you've knitted that shawl beautifully, and knowing that particular yarn, I also know that it must be wonderful to wear.

  6. Beautiful!
I too have got used to dressing with cosy knitted neckwear (and mittens and socks) but cast them off this weekend.
Summer evenings can get chilly so I'm keeping them at hand.
I love the beading on yours, and the colour.

  21. So gorgeous! I am always in such awe of knitters. One of the few needle arts that I just never got the hand of.

  23. I do love the finished effect Gina. How long to knit it if I left the beads out do you think? I am a reluctant knitter and can't believe I am asking the question but it does look a classy thing and might be a lovely gift for a friend I have who can no longer knit but who loves hand made things.
