Yes, I do eat breakfast and love my breakfasts. I have been eating oats soaked overnight in water with a squeeze of lemon, then a dollop of yogurt on top, but I've managed to wean child off factory floor sweepings aka boxed cereals so now we all have porridge, also soaked overnight. Child has teaspoon of Nutella, himself has honey and prunes, I leave out the honey and we all have banana! And a splash of milk.Izhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01032407776491997007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2419544468759273678.post-50357978458634479392014-08-24T22:47:18.463+01:002014-08-24T22:47:18.463+01:00yes, breakfasst cereal! I roast the oats and spices, then add coconut flakes, sunflower seeds, nuts and chopped dried fruit.<br />With yoghurt and your fresh soft fruit - it compensates for having to start the day by getting up in the morning. When I was working it was often a bit rushed, but I always had to have something, if only toast and coffee. Now most days it's more leisurely, it's usually fruit (at the moment kiwifruit, as the NZ ones I like are in season), fruit juice, muesli, brioche (just rediscovered them!) with marmalade, and coffee. And in the summer, when it's warm enough and if I have time, what I like more than anything is having breakfast in the garden.Thelmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15301630072970659470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2419544468759273678.post-78148574677118593242014-08-19T21:11:49.542+01:002014-08-19T21:11:49.542+01:00I'm definitely a breakfast eater too! Sometimes I eat it almost cool, but it seems the better for it. My milk is also whole fat milk from the local farmer, I think that makes it even more delicious. I often make it before going out to our land that is about 5km away and then grab a bunch of berries straight off the bush, yesterdays was blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
